In 2014 Operation Honey Bee was born. My story regarding bees starts with helping a vital link in the chain of human survival. Operation Honey Bee is the incarnation of my intentions to make a positive change in hives across the U.S.
The struggle of the bee hive mirrors the struggles of our society to work together with a “sweet outcome”. The video was taken a year ago, and outlines the goals of increasing street level gardens (urban) and small farms (rural), in total number. A direct plan of action, AgVET, represents “the next level” of farming tools.
AgVET is an extension of our goals to save not only bees but also enrich the lives of people with food that is BEYOND ORGANIC. Aquaponics, at the heart of the AgVET tools for farms, provides a feast for bees and humans alike, is supercharged by an addition of bees.
Our ask for $5, from a bunch of people, will resolve to an Operation Honey Bee web page. Many would like to keep small farmers and bees “canceled”. The risk of crowdsourcing the funds to get the AgVET platform up and running will initially be managed by OHB. AgVET will become a stand-alone entity at a later date after we are up and running.
Let's work on the problem of sustainable food supply for people, bees, soil, and our rural economies. AgVET strives to create a digital toolset, backed up with 21st-century farming tech, and entreating our veterans to be of service to our country - a second time - as gentlemen farmers and landowners.
$5 makes a difference, please consider helping our effort today!
Sincerely, John Baxter - AgVET and OHB Founder.
